I had the priveledge of photographing an adorable one year old for his 1 yr portraits as well as his sister and brother. We had so much fun running around on a baseball diamond in good old town Sherwood, our next stop was a some train tracks near by (dont worry no train coming our way anytime soon!) They are a family so full of smiles and laughter and just plain goofiness and really enjoable to watch and capture! Thanks McGee family!
Family Play time July 19, 2008
I had a great session last week with this fabulous family! They wanted to go to a place that meant alot to them, over looking the Gorge in Oregon was a small town called Corbett. We went to the Women’s forum and it had a great view of the gorge and the Vista house across the way. I thought I would share some shots from our evening of rolling around in the hay field and pinching cheaks!

This little goof, LOVED to make funny faces and was trying to come up with another one for me when I caught him giggling instead.
This little darling was so sweet, she had the most gorgeous blue eyes!
He was the oldest and such a ham, quit the model I think
Champagne toasts… but does it really need to be that expensive? July 17, 2008
So I thought I would share something that has come up with many brides, the Toasting glasses for the bride & Groom. Some couples have spent up to $250 on a pair of toasting glasses so I thought I would go out and find something that was lighter on the wallet… at Crate & Barrel they have a viriety of champagne flutes in all different sizes and shapes and look the pricing is fabulous! You or your planner could also dress them up a bit and ad a little bling bling.
The Joys of Motherhood and a baby belly July 16, 2008
I received an email from Amy one late afternoon seeing if we could set up a maternity session, I get so excited to do these, because I am such a sucker for the baby belly and wheat fields (Ill get to that). I met them first at their beautiful home filled with rich colors and soft textures throughout. The first thing I asked to see was ofcourse the Nursery! When I walked in there, I was in aw. Ok I admit I had a VERY quick desire to be pregnant again, because it is just so much fun to be preggers and surround yourself with all this adorable baby stuff! They are having a boy and hopefully in about 2 weeks and counting.
So we left their home to go take advantage of the gorgeous evening summer sun in yes… some local park with WHEAT fields! I am a sucker for wheat fields in the summer in that beautiful low lighting! How the sun just traces the tips of each stalk of wheat! I love it. And Thanks to Amy and Derek, we had a fabulous time!

Beach time fun! July 8, 2008
I had two sessions on the 3rd at Lincoln City and it was a gorgeous day! I love capturing kidos playing in the sand or the water, being silly and most of all just having fun like they are supposed to be. Luckily for us the tide was out so we can go underneath this really neat old Dock! I love the rustic old moss covered wood, Textures rock! I will have more up soon but heres a few….
This was was one of my faves because of the look on her face from her brother teasing her! Love it!

This little guy is really hard to get, he is constantly moving around and moving like a normal 4 year old! =) But I caught him and what a great smile he has!

Presentation is key…………. July 2, 2008
I love finding new packaging and classier ways to present my DVD’s to my clients of their finished proofs. So I went into Pro Photo Supply yesterday as I was buying yet another camera and some other fun things, I noticed these DVD folios that I have been looking for, for weeks!
They are simple, durable and most of all classy, so much better then placing these DVD’s in a clear plastic case, isnt it? Its all about presentation to me, I love presenting the bride and groom with their finished product in a special box filled with fun tissues and examples of pictures, wrapped in a big poka dot bow. Its that added touch that your clients deserve!
Always place your own touches to these things, something that is you and about your business as a photographer. =)
